Habits of Successful Test Takers (Encore)

Some students naturally excel at test-taking. Others know the material but struggle under pressure. What’s the difference? It’s not luck. It’s learned strategy.

In this session, students and families will explore practical techniques that boost test-day performance and build long-term confidence. Topics include effective study habits, how to approach multiple-choice questions strategically, managing time, overcoming test anxiety, and staying focused under pressure.

In this session, students and parents alike will learn the habits that lead to test success, including:

  • Knowing what to study, and what effective studying looks like

  • Using answer choices as assets

  • Tools to get “unstuck” when the mind goes blank on a concept or next step

  • Time management techniques for reading and test-taking

  • Techniques to manage test anxiety
